気になったので、米国GDP統計の詳細を確認していたんですが、政府支出の減少と、輸入と投資が伸びているのが特徴的でした

輸入の内訳は
Within imports, the increase primarily reflected an increase in imported goods, led by consumer goods, except food and automotive (mainly medicinal, dental, and pharmaceutical preparations, including vitamins); and by capital goods, except automotive (mainly computers, peripherals, and parts).
増加した主なものは、薬品、コンピュータや周辺機器、部品などでした　

投資については
The largest contributor to the increase in investment was private inventory investment, led by an increase in wholesale trade (notably, drugs and sundries)
民間在庫投資の増加がメインで、薬品、日用品などの卸売業の在庫の積み増しのようでした

ロイターの記事ですが
Inventories added 2.25 percentage points to GDP after being a drag for two straight quarters after being a drag for two straight quarters.
在庫投資は2.25ポイントGDPの増加に寄与したようです

つまり製造業や卸売業が関税発動前に駆け込み輸入し在庫を積み増したので、民間在庫投資と輸入がともに増えたという構図なのかなと思いました

NHKの記事では輸入増にしか触れられていなくて在庫投資増加への記載がないため、内容としては片手落ちのような感じになってしまってるんでしょうか

消費が伸び悩み、Iの増加したとなれば普通に在庫積み増し
今回は駆け込みだから違うと思うけど、需要不足であれば「意図せざる在庫」増

そりゃあんな通商政策ぶち上げたら消費にも悪影響よ
